Carlos and Luz are the Lead Pastors in the Spanish Ministry of New LifeLA (Nueva VidaLA) with the vision of bringing change and a fresh vision and culture to the Hispanic community of Los Angeles.  They were both born in Mexico; Carlos was born in Culiacan, Mexico and Luz was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. They met in a youth camp where they were both part of the worship team. Carlos has served on the worship ministry in different churches in Mexico and California since the age of 9 years old, and started leading worship at the age of 18 years old. Luz has served in the kid’s ministry as well as the worship ministry since the age of 16. Carlos and Luz got married in 2001 and have two young sons.
